• To protect the citizens of Troy and their guests from unlawful actions against them to the best of our ability
• To enforce the laws of the State of Illinois and the City of Troy fairly, equally, and without prejudice or malice
• To serve the people of Troy in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner
• To act as a conservator of public peace

The Troy Police Department is made up of highly-trained professionals who are dedicated to making our community safe for everyone. The Troy Police Department currently employs 24 police officers and 6 civilian employees. We offer a variety of programs and services to our citizens, including the D.A.R.E. Program, the Police Explorer Program, the Neighborhood Watch Program, vacation house checks, safety services, and more. We encourage you to visit the links for additional information.
