1. How do I report a street light outage?: Report street light outages to Ameren by calling 1-800-755-5000. Please be prepared to supply a nearby address.

2. How do I dispose of my leaves and yard waste?: Effective November 1, 2020, the burning of yard waste is no longer permitted within City Limits. Customers subscribing to yard waste collection with Republic Services may now request yard waste bins or use approved leaf collection bags to be collected by Republic Services. For more information of approved bags for collection you can contact Republic Services at 618-656-6883 or view their website @ www.republicservices.com

1. How do I drain my swimming pool?: Drain pool water into the storm sewer by running a hose from the pool to the ditch, or directly to storm sewer without obstructing traffic.

3. How do I report a street light outage?: To report a street light outage, please call Ameren at 1-800-755-5000. Please be able to provide the location of the street light in need of repair.

4. How do I report a traffic signal outage/malfunction?: Click to fill out a form to report signal outages or malfunctions. You may also call 618-667-9924 Ext.2 during regular business hours to report signal outages or malfunctions. Please provide location of the traffic signal so we may forward the information to IDOT. To report traffic signal outages or malfunctions during non-business hours, please call the Troy Police Department at 618-667-6731.

5. How do I report a pothole for repair?: To report potholes for repair, please contact City Hall at 618-667-9924 Ext. 2 during regular business hours. Please provide the exact location of the pothole so our Public Works crew may address the problem.

6. Where does our water come from?: The City of Troy utilizes four active community water supply wells located in Collinsville, Illinois. Our wells withdraw water from a depth of 80 feet below the surface from a sand-and-gravel aquifer. Our wells are capable of supplying 2.9 million gallons a day for the City of Troy.

7. Who is responsible for sewer repairs?: The homeowner is responsible for repairs to the sewer lateral, the city is responsible for repairs to the sewer main line. Please contact City Hall at 618-667-9924 Ext. 2 during regular business hours in order to have the Department of Public Works verify if the problem is located in the sewer lateral or the sewer main.. After business hours, please call Troy Police Department at 618-667-6731.

8. Who do I call if the storm sewer is blocked?: To report a storm sewer that is blocked, please call City Hall at 618-667-9924 Ext. 2 during regular business hours. Please be prepared to provide the exact location of the blocked storm sewer so our crews are able to respond promptly. To report a blocked storm sewer during non-business hours, please call the Troy Police Department at 618-667-6731.

9. Who do I contact to report an area that needs maintenance?: The City is responsible for maintenance of the grounds in Spencer Park, Wedge Park, the cemetery on Main Street and all lift stations. Please contact City Hall at 618-667-9924 Ext. 2 to report needed maintenance in these areas. Please provide the location and nature of needed maintenance. For any maintenance issues pertaining to the Troy Township Park, please contact the Tri-Township Park at 618-667-6887. In the case of a fallen tree, or limb that is blocking traffic, please call the City during regular business hours. To report after hours, please call the Troy Police Department at 618-667-6731.
