NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
The City of Troy will hold a public meeting on Monday, March 4, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Troy Municipal Building, 116 E. Market St., Troy, Illinois, to discuss a proposed road construction project.
This project will reconstruct approximately 300 linear feet of Zenk Road from Oakwood Drive to Riggin Road including the Oakwood Drive intersection. The existing Zenk Road is a bituminous pavement cross-section of varying widths. The project will create a consistent 30' cross-section with concrete curb and gutter, resurface the existing pavement, and add storm sewer to facilitate drainage. The City plans to apply for a $100,000 Madison County Community Development Grant to help fund this project.
This meeting is open to the public and is intended to gather public comment prior to applying for a Madison County Community Development Grant to fund the project. City officials will be present to present information to the public and to answer questions.
