Citizen Participation
Meetings are open to the public. Closed meetings / sessions will be posted as such.
*Citizens may participate during council meetings under the the "Citizen Participation" portion of the Regular City Council meetings, limited to three (3) minutes per city resident, unless granted additional time by the Mayor during the Council's Review Session after providing a written request to the Mayor and City Clerk.
*Citizens may participate during the approval of "Ordinances & Resolutions, limited to three (3) minutes per city resident, with comments directed to the Council as a whole (not directed at any individual Council member) and directed strictly to the item under discussion.
*Citizens may be heard through their alderman. Call the alderman at the phone number listed by their name. Citizens unable to reach their alderman may call the City Clerk's Office at 618-667-6741 ext. 513.
