Requesting Public Records Under the Freedom of Information Act
Any person, business, or organization requesting records of the City of Troy, Illinois, under the Freedom of Information Act shall make a request in writing by completing the Request for Public Records Form, or by any other means of a written request, and presenting it to the FOIA officer. Requests can be faxed to 618-667-4009 or emailed to the FOIA officer. Requests can also be delivered in person during normal business hours of Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or mailed to:

For Police Department records, present the Request for Public Records Form or written request to the Police Department FOIA officer. Requests can be faxed to 618-667-6493 or emailed to the Police Department FOIA officer.
