Where does our water come from?
The City of Troy utilizes four active community water supply wells located in Collinsville, Illinois. Our wells withdraw water from a depth of 80 feet below the surface from a sand-and-gravel aquifer. Our wells are capable of supplying 2.9 million gallons a day for the City of Troy.
