Economic Development
The City of Troy is dedicated to the view of Economic Development as a partnership between our growing community and a strong business base. The Economic Development Department strives to ensure a pro-business climate that encourages our existing industries to grow and expand and to attract new business to invest in our community. We look forward to forming partnerships with new businesses and to continue our support of existing businesses in Troy.
Troy is centrally located in the St. Louis Metro East area, approximately 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis, Mo with direct access to I-55, I-70, I-270, U.S. Route 40 and U.S. Route 162. Lambert International Airport is a short 32 mile drive and Mid America Airport is just 17 miles from the heart of Troy. Amtrak Rail services can be accessed 22 miles to Union Station in Downtown St. Louis, MO, or 24 miles to Alton, IL.
Our community is ideally placed to offer the lifestyle of a neighborhood community while having quick and easy access to many of the exciting cultural and entertainment activities, as well as numerous business and educational opportunities available in the surrounding Metro East area.
